Recently Released Hi-Fi Stereo Components: Evolved Speakers from Wilson Audio & an All-in-One Streamer from McIntosh
In 2024, two of your favorite hi-fi brands released new products that are on display at Stereo Stereo. We’re excited to show them to you and have both products ready to demonstrate as part of our expertly curated, high-end stereo systems. In both cases, we’re proud to be one of the few stereo stores in the USA where you can actually see and test these components before you purchase them. Here’s what you need to know about these excellent new product offerings:
Wilson Audio WATT/Puppy Speakers
Following an evolutionary track that begins with the release of the original WATT speaker in 1986, the 2024 edition of the WATT/Puppy is another major achievement for Wilson Audio. This is the eighth time Wilson has advanced this model with technological developments that build on its iconic original design. The 2024 WATT/Puppy is the first evolution in this design in more than a decade, and it’s something special. We have these beautiful loudspeakers on display (and ready to demonstrate) in our lobby.
Of course, if you’re interested in any other Wilson Audio loudspeakers, we have several other models on demonstration at the showroom, including Alexia V and Sabrina X hi-fi speaker models. Michael will be happy to test any of the models on active display in our showroom for you so you can see how they sound as part of a sophisticated stereo system. McIntosh MSA5500 Streaming Integrated Amplifier
What does a modern hi-fi system really need? Integration. This new offering from McIntosh offers all-in-one streaming and amplification for your entire home entertainment system, with the ability to stream from services like Tidal, Spotify & Apple Music, plus dedicated turntable input and an HDMI port that can allow you to plug into a variety of different entertainment components. The McIntosh MSA5500 offers an alternative to unsightly, bulky home theater systems that can allow you to put music first but still use the same great speakers as your hi-fi system.
In Michael’s opinion, products like these represent the future of the hi-fi industry, allowing these excellent products to fit in with our entertainment-rich lifestyles in all the different forms that takes. We love the idea of hi-fi stereo systems becoming integrated into your general approach to enjoying the media you love, whether that’s music, movies, streaming shows or video games.
